More about us

Faiza | Initiator Planet Inaba and chairman

Hey there, my name is Faiza! Born and Raised in the Netherlands with roots from Morocco. I currently work as freelance strategic marketeer. I have been fortunate enough to have been exposed to various opportunities and skills within the Netherlands. As I journeyed across many countries, I couldn’t help but notice how many underprivileged youths possess immense potential, but are hindered by their limited access to resources and knowledge.

When I first started supporting youth, I never imagined it would lead to something like this. But as I continued to help one person at a time, I realized that accomplishing this goal alone was not achievable. That’s where Planet Inaba was born: working with like-minded volunteers, and sharing knowledge to support youth to become their full potential.

I encourage everyone to give back their knowledge to others (if you can). It doesn’t cost anything – just a lots of love!

Kaoutar  | Vice-Chair & Project Manager

My name is Kaoutar, Moroccan by roots, born and raised in the Netherlands.
With a background in Public Administration and a strong interest in how public systems can contribute to societal well-being, I have developed a deep commitment to development and sustainable change. My academic journey, focused on Public Management and Entrepreneurship, has helped shape my perspective on the importance of effective governance, inclusive development, and sustainable change.

I deeply believe in the power of knowledge sharing. As a Muslim, the word “Iqra”(read/learn) holds special significance. It inspires me to help children and young adults gain the tools and skills they need to build brighter futures.

As human beings, we have a shared responsibility to uplift those affected by disaster, conflict, or poverty. Even the smallest actions can spark meaningful change.

Since the beginning, I have been involved with Planet Inaba as a volunteer and project member, raising awareness. As of September 2023, I have taken on a more active role as a board member, contributing to the development and management of our projects.

Oualid | Treasure & project lead Morocco self-development

Hi! My name is Oualid EL YEBADRI, born and raised in Morocco and I live currently in France. I’m a digital projects manager with an engineer background.

I joined Planet Inaba due to my strong sense of environmental responsibility and my desire to create a positive impact on the planet and future generations.

One tip I would to pass on to young people:

(Can be very broad) “I guess, to try and step out of your comfort zone and not be afraid of failing. Be courageous and believe in yourself: nothing is impossible.”

Funda | Graphic designer

I joined Planet Inaba because I have always wanted to make a meaningful impact in the world, especially for those in need. Being part of an organization that strives to provide equal opportunities for youth in developing countries is incredibly fulfilling.

I have been involved with Planet Inaba from the beginning when Faiza asked me to design the branding and logo. It was an exciting challenge to create a visual identity that represents the organization’s mission and values.

Recently, I had the opportunity to work on a new project for Planet Inaba, which involved designing a new website. It was a great experience to collaborate with the team and create a website that not only looks great, but also provides a user-friendly experience for visitors.

Overall, I’m grateful to be part of such a wonderful organization and contribute my skills to make a difference in the world.

Aisha | Social & Project member

Hello! I’m a foreign language correspondent based in Germany – majored in English and soon Spanish. Currently working in a different area (software sector). I was born and raised in Germany but originate from Syria. I decided to join Planet Inaba because I wanted to try a new type of work in which we do good deeds and challenging tasks at the same time. I was chosen to translate and get in touch with the other side of the world. Since I do speak Syrian-Arabic, translating and communicating in all Arabic dialects is very easy for me.

Sarah | Content writer / Photographer

Hi, my name is Sarah Boulahrouz, I am 29, born and raised in the Netherlands originated from the north of Morocco.

I work parttime at a school as a student coach. whenever I am not working, I am a creative who is building her own brand, who loves photography and loves to read books. I have a degree in Social Work, but at this moment I am studying to be a teacher in the Dutch language and to become a seamstress. I would love to teach people who are not native to the Dutch language, our language but I would also love to teach people how to sew their own garments.

I will volunteer for Planet Inaba as a photographer and creative writer. Planet Inaba inspired me to be a part of something that contributes to people’s future. They really think of long-term solutions and make an impact in people’s lives. That is what I want to be a part of.

If there is one thing, I could tell my younger self is, as cliché as it is, if you’re scared you can’t do it then you should do it scared anyway. Sometimes a failure will redirect you to success.

Fatima | Project member

Hi, my name is Fatima and I am a volunteer at Planet Inaba.

Born and raised in Rotterdam, I am the youngest of three children. Besides working for one of the largest banks in the Netherlands, I am also very busy in my spare time. I organize socio-cultural events in which women are put in the spotlight. I also work on sustainability in the neighborhood and of course I also love to spend time with family. Family is the most important thing to me.

At Planet Inaba I love to use my skills to create opportunities for young people who want to determine their own future in difficult living conditions. It is great to see how these young people can get much further in their lives with little.

Marwan  | Palestine development

Planet Inaba aims to nurture the potential of individuals in unfortunate communities, empowering them to achieve their aspirations and excel. My commitment to knowledge-sharing and mentorship is driven by the belief that assisting others is the catalyst for personal and collective growth. Inaba is derived from the concept of nurturing and symbolizes the dedication to create a thriving ecosystem across all facets of life. Together, we strive to cultivate a greener, more sustainable tomorrow for all.

Imane | Support & network

My name is Imane Hadiki, and I am a 23-year-old psychologist from Morocco. Over the past five years, I have studied and completed my education in psychology in France, earning my degree as a work psychologist. In 2024, I chose to return to my home country to help ensure that more Moroccans have access to psychologists who understand their cultural background and the unique aspects of the Moroccan context. To further this mission, I enrolled in a master’s program in clinical psychology in Casablanca and am currently undergoing training at various mental health institutes. By joining Planet Inaba, I aim to raise awareness about mental health and provide psychological support to Moroccans of all ages. With my background as a work psychologist,

I hope to contribute to Planet Inaba’s projects by offering workshops on career guidance and planning, resume writing and job application, stress management, emotional intelligence, communication skills and other topics that may interest the youth. As a Moroccan resident and volunteer with Planet Inaba, my goal is to actively participate in Project Morocco and help establish a strong presence for Planet Inaba in our country. I would like to take this opportunity to share an important message with everyone reading this : The best thing you can ever be is yourself. Authenticity is the key to success. Never be ashamed of your roots, your country, your culture, or your religion, as these are the elements that make you unique. Embrace them fully.

Kaoutar  | UX design & Admin

Hello 🙂 my name is kaoutar and I’ve been living in the Alsace region of France, between Germany and Switzerland, for over 2 years. I am currently working as a consultant in a consulting and recruitment firm. I was born and raised in France, but I’m originally from Morocco, whose dialect I’m lucky enough to speak.

I wanted to join Planet Inaba as a volunteer in order to contribute my knowledge of UI-UX which I’m passionate about, and also to support the team in administrative tasks.

Planet Inaba is an association that I’ve been following on the networks for a while, and I’m delighted and proud to be part of it, as I’ve always wanted to be part of an association that acts on an international level with projects that include both the humanitarian and sustainable aspects.
